Some Days are Harder than Others. Period.

Some days are harder than others. Period.
Today I met a young man.
27 years young. The same age as our son back home.
It began with an infection in his foot.
The voodoo priest was called upon.
The efforts proved futile.
The infection grew worse.
The infection spread.
His leg is gone.
His life has changed.
But all is not lost.
He knows now a hospital that preaches healing power in the name of Jesus.
He knows now a hospital that provides healing power through conventional medicine.
He knows now a hospital where the love that extends is from knowing and serving Christ.
He knows now a hospital that doesn't turn away due to lack of financial means.
He knows now a hospital that endeavours every single day to "Evangelize, Teach and Heal" in the name of Jesus.

Today he returned to his home.

Please pray for his new life with no limb, but most importantly pray that the seeds planted will be nurtured and will grow. Pray he will come to know Jesus. Pray also that Hôpital Claire Heureuse will continue to live out, with reckless abandon, their mission statement to Evangelize, Teach, and Heal. Amen.
